The most effective remedy I've given to clients, which was given to me by a Welsh OT, is to start counting a four sided object - door, window, paving slab etc. You just concentrate on the counting - bear could help you. When things are a little calmer, think about your breathing, try to breathe in to a count of 3 and out to a count of 5, try to extend the counts by 2, so you breathe in to 5 and out to 7. Then make two fists and push them together really hard. Then, very slowly, start to relax your shoulders, then your arms and finally your hands. I taught these to my now son in law when he was about to disappear out of the house trying to outrun a panic attack. He said it was the fastest he'd ever come out of an attack. Give them a go, practice every day. I hope things improve soon.Sarah Headhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08975928642943693605noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3262834626697547871.post-82755369854059497122016-07-12T23:40:15.752+01:002016-07-12T23:40:15.752+01:00I'm sorry your story was rejected and the day ...I'm sorry your story was rejected and the day is not going so well.
