Things that I'll never buy are probably quite a small set, but I'm including these.
Christmas Pudding Flavour Crisps. For those not from the UK, it's like having brownie flavoured Doritos. I saw these in Aldi when I went to pick up some salad and I rejected them utterly! It's an abomination!
The lilac leaves are turning and a wonderful striking colour.
Gladys continues ridiculously large. As the flowers will be keeping the remaining insects going, I'll cut her back after the first frost when she loses the flowers.
Brain continues completely dead. I'm a little achy but it could be worse.
Hugs and good health to all.
Yikes! No, not something I'd try lol. I did see a couple of strange flavours while I was over there this summer. I'll stick with the Cheese and Onion lol
ReplyDeleteThere are some very strange things on the shelves these days!
DeleteChristmas pudding flavored chips are probably up there with bacon flavored chocolate (yes, someone gave me a bar of it as a gag gift one Christmas and as much as I love chocolate and bacon, the two together was not to my taste). Not many leaves change color where I live, but, those that do haven't quite started, yet. Gladys is in a category all her own! She is absolutely magnificent!
ReplyDeleteBacon and chocolate!!! Just no!!! Gladys is certainly one of one. Of course, you would change season a little later. I hope you get to enjoy it.
DeleteThe very thought of Christmas pudding crisps turns my stomach. I won't be trying them either.
ReplyDeleteI just refused. I won't go there, not even for science.
DeleteNo, no, no! What on earth are Walkers thinking of? I suppose you could sort of make a complete Christmas meal with crisps - prawn cocktail to start, roast chicken (or beef) for main, then Christmas pudding ones to finish - mmm (not!). The only flavour missing is brussels. Note to Walkers (and other crisp manufacturers) - just NO! I'm a bit boring and only like cheese and onion but they are so expensive now for what is basically no more than, at most, half a potato per pack plus some flavouring.
ReplyDeleteOne year you could get brussel sprouts flavoured crips from M&S... I remember when it was plain, salt and vinegar or cheese and onion. Once they started with prawn cocktail, it all went downhill. I usually have Tesco own brand crisps. They're not as expensive and they're gluten free, unlike Walkers.
DeleteI saw those crisps in our Aldi - what the....!? Ridiculous. I think Walkers are banking on peoples' curiosity!
ReplyDeleteYes! - they think that they'll sell x amount because people will buy them just to say that they've tried them!
