I'll answer them properly tomorrow and let you know how I go on. There may be lasers involved and I am a pathetic wimp when it comes to my eyes that even though the doctors were lovely, they must have been sick of me by the end.
Hugs and good health to all.
Oh my, I hope everything works out ok for you. I had to have eye surgery earlier this year and I was terrified. I am not at all squeamish about things normally - except for eye stuff. After all, you can't close your eyes can you? To top it all, when I got there it was during I was told I could only have an oral sedative as the doctors were on strike but the consultant said he would rather patients had no sedation at all as they were more in control and less likely to move unknowingly so I went ahead with no sedation and it was absolutely fine. I felt a bit of a baby for being so worried but the nurse said they have had big tough men cry because they are so scared, and even leave without having the op. so I'm sure they have seen far worse than you being nervous. Just keep thinking of how much better things will be afterwards if treatment is needed. Best wishes.
ReplyDeleteThank you for reassuring me - I feel really hugged
DeleteDear Lyssa I have had laser treatment on both eyes and it was completely painless apart from the $1000 hit to my bank account, which I presume you will not have to pay? Warm regards, Helen
ReplyDeleteNo, I don't have to pay (and I'm grateful for it). Thank you for reassuring me. It's a hug
DeleteOh, good luck with the eye treatments! I go to have my eyes checked next week (I have cataracts that are being monitored until they are matured enough for surgery).
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the check. It must be odd waiting for the cataracts - do you want them to get bigger so that you can get your eyes done or do you want them not to grow so you don't have to deal with the surgery? Sending hugs x
