The weekend was pretty good. We fed the crows on Saturday, well, crows and magpies. Some of the magpies have obviously been living dangerously as some of them were missing tail feathers - some almost completely! Here is a poor shot which I hope shows a magpie with a bald backside.
It's hard to see, but the one at the top has a normal end, and the one at the bottom has been severely posterially pruned.
Mother's Day was good here. I got candles, of course. I love candles. I've always got one burning whenever it's practical so the men know that it's a safe gift. I got candles in cute owl holders.
They are all strongly scented, and I can't wait to try them out. I'm trying to think about how best to save them and what I can use them for.
The Lent knitting is also coming along.
It's a scarf that should be finished by the end of the week which will make two scarves and a hat. I want to try and add at least another two hats before Easter.
Hugs and good health to all.
