That's not static. It's the way that the colour worked out. As it is, it's very approximately 160cm by 90cm (63 inches by 34 inches) which is a ridiculous size and I ought to re-knit it again, but I can't face it and it's lovely and warm and squishy.
I decided to use the same needles for the same drape and squish with the yarn I failed to resist at Aldi the other week. I got 8 balls of 100g (175 metres, or just over 190 yards) at £1.29 per ball. It's a wool and acrylic mix and I'm looking forward to seeing how it turns out.
As far as I can tell, the yarn is the same sort of weight and I cast on 115 stitches instead of 175 so it should be a more manageable shape. It knits up easily as well. It's funny how some yarns seem much easier to knit than others. I miss Marriners Yarns.
I am also pleased that I resisted the Mystery box that was advertised on the knitting network. I do not need more yarn!
It's been a quiet day today, with bear and DH hanging out all day. It's incredibly relaxing.
Hugs and good health to all.
Well done on the finish! It looks great.
