I didn't go for a walk. At the moment my feet are too swollen to fit into anything but slippers, and it hurts to walk any distance in them. I ordered some extra wide trainers which came today, but my feet won't fit into them. Also, I'm almost certainly going to have to go to the shop tomorrow as well instead of leaving it until next week. Darn it to heck. I haven't even got any pics. Today has not been a raging success.
It did prove, however, that the moment I mention anything I plan, it all goes horribly wrong. I haven't even touched the sewing I was talking about for the last day or two! I am not mentioning plans on here again - it's too risky.
And they still haven't cut the trees back.
To cheer myself up, here is a pic of a cross eyed cat
Hugs and good health to all.
I hope your feet feel better soon. I have trouble with my ankle still and I know just how painful it is when your body doesn't seem to do what you want it to do! Try not to be too hard on yourself. We all have bad days. Put a line under it and start again tomorrow. At least that's what I tell myself!
ReplyDeleteOh dear, when one thing goes wrong, everything seems to go wrong. I find that a lot too, or maybe it's just that I start looking for things to be bad when things don't work out how I wanted them to. I have to remind myself that life's too short more often!
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry to hear about your feet. It is so frustrating to be held back by physical limitations, especially when you want to do something that's good for your body and soul. Do you have a pool near you? Have you thought about exercising in water instead? - you don't need shoes and it allows you to stretch and move more easily with support.
Just don't tell us you're going or you'll get a puncture on the way, or be called upon to pick bear up early or something!
