Not Doing This, But...
Does anyone remember the time I got giddy on eBay and bought 90 ties for a very reasonable amount? Of course I haven't done anything with them yet, but I found this on Bored Panda

You can also make a Dresden Plate quilt, using ties. Do an online search and you'll find lots of images. If a whole quilt is too much, you can make cushions. Or placemats. And give them as gifts, next Christmas. :)
