I have toothache. The abscess continues. Sometimes it flares up, like now, which is painful. My dentist insists that I need sedation for the tooth to be pulled. My throat went into a spasm when they last tried to take an x-ray and I think it worried the dentist (who is lovely). So I was referred to a specialised clinic, which burned down. I am fairly sure it was a coincidence.
This caused some disruption, as you can imagine, and today I had a consult in a different building - in the wilds of Leeds, in an not very nice area. Also, I only realised that my satnav had been put on mute while I was on the ringroad. I don't like the ringroad anyway, so by the time I got it all sorted out and arrived at the clinic with something like four minutes to spare, I was a wreck.
It turned out that this wasn't the consultation before the sedation. This was the consultation before the consultation before the sedation. I took a whole five minutes. I thought I would stretch my wheels afterwards to cheer myself up, and it would have probably worked better if I hadn't taken a wrong turn and ended up in Leeds City Centre with absolutely no clue where I was going. The one way system there is tricky.
I was so glad to get home, and I watched 'The Addams Family Values' with DH and bear. Bear went for new shoes today and he is now in men's shoes. It seems like no time at all I was taking him for his first shoes before he could even walk well.
